— Local author Jim Coogan will present stories from his book, “Cape Cod Women in the Age of Sail,” as part of the Author Series at Wingate Residences at Brewster Place on Friday, May 17 at 2:30 p.m. Coogan will share stories from his book about seagoing women from the 18th and 19th centuries who spent months and years sailing great distances.
