Date: May 5, 2023
Time: 3:00 PM - 4:30 PM EDT
Event Description:

Come ready to play! This class is designed to create a picture with cut, torn, applied papers and other materials. Think Picasso, Braque and Matisse! We'll experiment to see what evolves while playing with materials such as:

  • images from magazines
  • materials of all kinds (thin fabric, tissue paper, newspaper, napkins, string)
  • mark making ( pencil, pen, marker)
  • paint…

*Please come with a few themes in mind, as well as materials you may want to experiment with, and perhaps some pre-cut images you love.

The library will provide the basics materials: surface to work on, scissors, glue, and some magazines to pull from. For ages 16 and up.
