NEW Rigamajig Workshop!
BREWSTER, MA —The Cape Cod Museum of Natural History in Brewster presents the NEW Rigamajig Workshop! Wednesdays – Sundays, December 7-18 11am-3pm & Special Hours December 19-22, 2022 10am-2pm*
Parts of the Museum will be closed December 7-26 as we add a cool new feature to our upper level involving a “slide into science” opening February 2023. As a result, the Marshview Room, Exhibit Hallway, and Science Rocks! will be closed during that project. The Aquarium, Science Shop, Naturescape Gallery, and History Hall remain open.
However, while we are building upstairs, come downstairs to our NEW Rigamajig Workshop and see what YOU can build! Designed to spark imagination, creativity, innovation, collaboration, and problem-solving skills, Rigamajig helps to promote:
21st CENTURY SKILLS
Through hands-on play, kids develop physical, emotional, and intellectual skills to engage their world with confidence.INVENTION
With no instructions or right-and-wrong answers, children are free to imagine what to make, and to figure out how to make it. Invention 101!STEM/STEAM
Playing with Rigamajig promotes STEM/STEAM principles through inquiry-based learning that provide kids opportunities for creativity, innovation, collaboration, and critical thinking.*Admission for non-member adults and seniors will be reduced to the child rate of $7
We expect to be fully open for December School Vacation Tuesday, 12/27 – Friday, 12/30
11am-3pm. **Regular admission rates apply**
