BREWSTER, MA — The Cape Cod Museum of Natural History presents Nature Printing art project with artist Leslie Kramer, Saturday, May 25, 2024, 12pm-1:30pm.
Make colorful nature prints with artist, Leslie Kramer. You will use dried leaves, flowers, and ferns with water-based paints to create a design on a gelli plate. Place paper on top and rub to make your print. You can also cut your own stencils out of thin foam or paper and print them or overlay two designs. The possibilities are endless!! All materials are provided. Non-toxic.
Leslie studied printmaking in Paris with the renowned artist, Stanley Hayter. For 26 years she taught Printmaking at Elmira College, and her work has been shown in national and international exhibitions.
Locally, Leslie has exhibited at The Cape Cod Museum of Art, The Art Complex Museum, PAAM, Cotuit Center for the Arts, and the Cultural Center and the Museum’s Naturescape Gallery. Her work is in the collection of the Boston Public Library, the DeCordova Museum in Lincoln, MA, the Albuquerque Public Library, and numerous private collections.
Included with Museum Admission/ Materials provided.
