Educational Seminar
 
 BREWSTER, MA — Join Captain Dave Casoni, Secretary/Treasurer of the Massachusetts Lobstermen’s Association, along with Executive Director, Beth Casoni for Preservation the Right Way educational seminar at the Cape Cod Museum of Natural History Thursday, November 2, 2023 at 1pm.
The Lobster Foundation of Massachusetts (LFoM), and the Massachusetts Lobstermen’s Association partnered with the MA Division of Marine Fisheries, Seafood Marketing Program to create Preservation the Right Way educational seminars to educate and enlighten the public on the conservation efforts by the Massachusetts commercial lobstermen on behalf of the North Atlantic Right Whale and on Everything Lobster related.
The seminar will also include the history of lobstering, how lobsters are caught, the nutritional benefits of eating lobster, where to purchase lobster in the Commonwealth, and how to cook lobster. The presentation will take approximately 1 to 1.5 hours, with a Q&A session. A survey will be handed out at the beginning of the seminar and then another to be answered after the presentation to gauge what the participants learned.
