Starting her musical journey at just six years old in Caguas, PR, Fabiola has grown into one of the leading ambassadors of the Puerto Rican cuatro, bringing her powerful performances to audiences worldwide. A graduate of Berklee College of Music, and the first-ever to major in the cuatro, Fabiola’s mission is to celebrate the beauty and richness of Puerto Rican folk music. She’s captivated audiences at the Metropolitan Museum of Art, the New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival, and beyond. Her collaborations span artists and organizations, including the Puerto Rico Symphony Orchestra, Totó La Momposina, and productions on Disney+, PBS Kids, and HBO Max. Fabiola’s music tells a story of cultural pride, Afro-Latinx experiences, and the vibrant traditions of Puerto Rico. You’ll hear selections from her celebrated albums: Al Otro Lado del Charco (2019), Afrorriqueña (2021), and her newest release, Flora Campesina (2024).
