Cape Cod Museum of Natural History Presents the White Shark Research Update with Dr. Greg Skomal

The Cape Cod Museum of Natural History in Brewster will be hosting Dr. Greg Skomal of the Massachusetts Shark Research Program on Thursday, March 5, 2020.
For the last 10 years, Dr. Skomal has been studying the life history, ecology, and behavior of white sharks off the coast of Cape Cod and beyond. In doing so, he has tagged more than 230 white sharks with a variety of new technologies to drill deeper into how this top predator hunts seals off our coastline. Join us on March 5 for an exciting update on this research.
Dr. Skomal is an accomplished marine biologist, charismatic speaker and senior fisheries biologist with Massachusetts Marine Fisheries since 1987. He currently heads up the Massachusetts Shark Research Program as well as directing the scientific research on Great White Sharks off the coast of Cape Cod for the last 6 years.
 
Doors will open for wine and hors d’oeuvres at 6 pm.
Lecture at 6:30pm
 
The presentation is $50 per person. All proceeds will benefit the Cape Cod Museum of Natural History’s education programs.
