Cape Cod Museum of Natural History presents "The Disappearance of the PX-15"
The Cape Cod Museum of Natural History in Brewster presents Curiosity Stream’s documentary film “The Disappearance of the PX-15” Wednesdays, October 10th & 24, 2018 at 11:30am.
In the shadow of Apollo 11 in 1969, a mission was launched that has remained a virtual secret for 3 decades. As Apollo 11 lands on the moon, an unknown NASA experiment probes the deep. Six courageous men were sealed inside a tiny deep-sea capsule and set adrift off the coast of Florida. Their mission: to survive for 30 days exploring the depths of the Gulf Stream. What NASA discovered under the sea, still guides space exploration today. “The Disappearance of the PX-15” follows marine archaeologist James Delgado as he recovers the sub and reunites the surviving aquanauts to tell their fascinating stories of this secret mission.
