Event Description:
The Cape Cod Museum of Natural History in Brewster continues its Nature Screen film series celebrating the 50th anniversary of the Apollo 11 mission and the first man to walk on the moon. On Wednesday, December 4, 2019 at 1pm we will screen Curiosity Stream’s Return to the Moon, an original documentary focusing on the next steps in space exploration.
The Apollo equipment has sat abandoned on the lunar surface for over 40 years. Now, there is renewed excitement and drive to the return to the moon. The race is on to colonize the moon by the 2030s, to uncover hidden riches and discover if humanity can really survive on another world. That’s why we’re going back, not to visit, but to stay!
