Brewster Ponds Coalition at Brewster Ladies' Library Climate-wise Lawns and Meadowscaping

Join the Brewster Ponds Coalition and Peter Jensen of Terra Firma Permagardens (a BPC business partner) to learn about “Climate-wise Lawn and Meadowscaping." Peter will discuss maintaining soil health and responsible, aquifer-friendly fertility management, as well as mowing techniques that emphasize pollinator protection, all within a socially responsible framework. Through the use of specific techniques such as picture frame mowing, no-mow strips in less-walked areas, and others, you will learn how to maintain your lawn or meadow with minimal environmental impact. With Spring around the corner, this is a great opportunity to get some tips for your lawn and landscape. The session will be held on Thursday, April 2, 2026, from 3 - 4:30PM at the Brewster Ladies Library, 1822 Main St, Brewster, and is free and open to the public.
