DESCRIPTION:Join the Brewster Ponds Coalition and Peter Jensen of Terra Firma Permagardens (a BPC business partner) to learn about "Climate-wise Lawn and Meadowscaping." Peter will discuss maintaining soil health and responsible\, aquifer-friendly fertility management\, as well as mowing techniques that emphasize pollinator protection\, all within a socially responsible framework. Through the use of specific techniques such as picture frame mowing\, no-mow strips in less-walked areas\, and others\, you will learn how to maintain your lawn or meadow with minimal environmental impact. With Spring around the corner\, this is a great opportunity to get some tips for your lawn and landscape. The session will be held on Thursday\, April 2\, 2026\, from 3 - 4:30PM at the Brewster Ladies Library\, 1822 Main St\, Brewster\, and is free and open to the public.
