Brewster Ladies' Library How to prepare for winter storms and other climate events
The Brewster Ladies Library Discovery and Enrichment Program presents William “Chip” Reilly, Barnstable County Emergency Preparedness Director, to discuss how residents need to prepare, what they need to do, and where to go when such weather event occurs. Chip will share best practices for preparing for storms and floods this upcoming fall and winter. Topics will include: How to build an emergency kit, Emergency preparedness for individuals with disabilities and access and functional needs, Safety tips for sheltering in place, and how to support your family and neighbors before, during, and after a storm. This program is free and open to the public, although donations are appreciated. Registration can be found on the Brewster Ladies’ Library website: www.brewsterladieslibrary.org.
