Brewster Ladies' Library Discovery & Enrichment Series: Brewster Schools--A Legacy of Learning

Join us for a fascinating journey through Brewster's educational history, from one-room schoolhouses with coal stoves to today’s regional school system. Educators Katherine Atwater and Kierstyn Bohl will take us on a journey back in time to explore what classroom life was like on rural Cape Cod in the 1800s. They will share how Brewster’s early schoolhouses evolved, leading to the 1925 construction of a four-room school on Kings Highway serving grades 1-8.
