Connecting with and Preserving the Past: A Glimpse into Brewster's History 1600s-1800s Brewster Ladies' Library Association Discovery & Enrichment Series: Connecting with and Preserving the Past: A Glimpse into Brewster's History 1600s-1800s. Ellie Devlin, BHS tour guide and Cobb House docent, will transport us back to the 1600s when the Saquatucket Tribe and English colonists shared this land. Through facts and stories, she will explain how historical events influenced our present-day community. Co-sponsored by the Brewster Historical Society.
