Join us at the Brewster Ladies' Library for a lively and provocative discussion led by Elaine Kamarck. What can we expect in the next electoral cycle? The last few elections have shown us that the polls and pundits often misread the signals. Is Donald Trump finished? Can the Democrats prosper without Trump on the scene? What about the Republicans? A veteran observer of Washington shares her insights. Elaine Kamarck is an expert on American electoral politics and government innovation and reform. She is a Senior Fellow in the Government Studies program and Director of the Center for Effective Public Management at the Brookings Institute. She has also been a lecturer on public policy at Harvard’s Kennedy School, and held a variety of positions that have given her a unique perspective on events in Washington.
