Dear Friends and Colleagues,
Above is a promotional trailer for the new documentary about Cape Cod author Greg O'Brien entitled HAVE YOU HEARD ABOUT GREG. A special screening of this very moving film will be part of ART/ALZ, an afternoon of cultural events that takes on the subject of memory and life with cognitive loss.
The day will begin with Lisa Genova, author of the Oscar-winning film STILL ALICE, reading from her new book REMEMBER. The Cape Cod Chamber Orchestra will also perform.
Whether making art or witnessing art, studies have shown that engagement in the creative process improves cognition and memory. Art connects us to each other and to ourselves, deepening our experience of the world around us. We hope you will join us for this remarkable afternoon!
