The universe is believed to have started with the “Big Bang” 13.8 billion years ago and it’s still slowly accelerating. The James Webb Telescope has revealed new findings, adding to mysteries of dark energy and dark matter. Join us to learn more about these exciting discoveries. Dr. James (Jim) Lynch is the current president of the Cape Cod Astronomical Society, a group of amateur astronomers who enjoy both looking at the beauty of the night sky and teaching others about it. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree and a Doctorate in Physics and currently is Senior Scientist Emeritus at Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution. Jim is also a pianist.
