Glig’s versatile concert program will include solo piano works from
Italian Baroque composer Domenico Scarlatti through musical
romantics such as Frederic Chopin and Franz Liszt all the way to
American George Gershwin.
“ I intentionally selected the piano repertoire that will be of an
interest to a wide range of Cape audiences; from classical music lovers to jazz enthusiasts.”
Her diverse selection of piano repertoire will include works such as Beethoven’s Piano Sonata
in C# Minor, Op.27 No.2 “Quasi una fantasia” also known as “Moonlight,” Handel - Kempff’s
most lyrical Minuet in G Minor, Gershwin’s Three Preludes for piano, selections from Liszt’s
Années de pèlerinage (Years of Pilgrimage) and Chopin’s most epic and dramatic Scherzo in
C# Minor, No.3, op.39.
