Join jessie little doe baird, linguist and co-founder of the Wôpanâak Language Reclamation Project, for a talk on the Wampanoag people’s journey to reclaim their language after more than a century without living fluent speakers. She will share how Wôpanâak returned to community life, what this work has meant for her people, and what the language can teach us about seeing the world through a Wampanoag lens.
