The public is invited to the second of a three-part series of programs this winter that offer insight and a discussion opportunity on environmental topics of local importance. On February 19, the focus will be on water quality in Brewster, including the status of and threats to the town’s ponds and drinking water supply. The featured speakers will be Kimberly Crocker Pearson, Chair, Brewster Natural Resources Advisory Commission and member of Brewster’s Water Resources Task Force, and Dr. Laurel Schaider, a senior scientist at the Silent Spring Institute. Sponsored by Brewster Conservation Trust in partnership with the Brewster Ladies’ Library Association’s Discovery & Enrichment Series, this program will be offered in person and via Zoom.
