Brewster Ladies' Library Cholesterol Management & CardioChek Screening

This session includes a brief PowerPoint presentation and educational materials related to Cholesterol Management. After the presentation, attendees may take a CardioChek screening which provides quick, point-of-care results for Total Cholesterol, HDL (good cholesterol), Cholesterol/ HDL ratio and a random Glucose from a single fingerstick. This assesses your risk for heart disease (cholesterol/ HDL ratio levels) and highlights proactive lifestyle changes. Screenings conducted by experienced Public Health Nurses. Offered in partnership with the Barnstable County Department of Health and Environment. Space is limited. Registration required.
