DESCRIPTION:Led by Associate Artistic Director Maura Hanlon\, the Young Company presents Kaufman & Hart's hilarious American classic\, Once In A Lifetime. This fast-paced\, wild romp follows three down on their luck vaudeville performers as they decide to head for Hollywood and try their luck at the newest craze: "talkies." Slapstick humor\, mistaken identities and madcap\n\n antics with an outrageous cast of characters all add up to a laugh out loud comedy spoofing the absurdities of Tinsel Town in the golden age of cinema.\n\n\n\nCape Rep's Young Company Initiative is growing and we are excited to announce that we've doubled from 16 members in 2019 to this year's company of 33 students whose hometowns stretch from Plymouth to Wellfleet. The Young Company (YoCo) provides free professional theater training to young local actors 8th grade through high school eager to learn the craft of acting through an intensive rehearsal and production process. All interested students are welcomed into this free annual program.
