DESCRIPTION:White Shark Research Update \n\nwith \n\nDr. Greg Skomal \n\n  \n\n \n\nBREWSTER\, MA  The Cape Cod Museum of Natural History in Brewster will be hosting Dr. Greg Skomal of the Massachusetts Shark Research Program on Thursday\, June 9\, 2022 at 6pm.\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nFor the last 13 years\, Dr. Skomal has been studying the life history\, ecology\, and behavior of white sharks off the coast of Cape Cod and beyond. In doing so\, he has tagged more than 280 white sharks with a variety of new technologies to drill deeper into how this top predator hunts seals off our coastline. Join us on June 9 for an exciting update on this research.  \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nDr. Skomal is an accomplished marine biologist\, charismatic speaker\, and senior fisheries biologist with the Massachusetts Division of Marine Fisheries since 1987. He currently heads up the Massachusetts Shark Research Program as well as directing the scientific research on Great White Sharks off the coast of Cape Cod for the last 13 years.  \n\n \n\nDoors will open for wine and hors d'oeuvres at 6 pm. \n\nLecture at 6:30pm \n\nThe presentation is $60 per person.
