DESCRIPTION:Cape Rep Theatre presents Cape Premiere of SHAKESPEARE IN LOVE\n\nCape Rep Theatre continues its 2018 season with the Cape Premiere of Shakespeare in Love based on the screenplay by Marc Norman & Tom Stoppard\, adapted for the stage by Lee Hall\, music by Paddy Cunneen.  November 1 through December 2: Tuesdays\, Wednesdays and Thursdays at 7 PM\, Fridays and Saturdays at 8 PM\, and Sundays at 2 PM.  There are no performances November 6th\, 20th\, 21st\, & 22nd.  \n\nOriginally produced on the West End by Disney Theatrical Productions & Sonia Friedman Productions\, directed by Declan Donnellan\, and designed by Nick Ormerod. \n\nThis production will be directed by Cape Rep's Associate Artistic Director\, Maura Hanlon\, with Musical Direction by Peter Hodgson of this season's Merrily We Roll Along and Mamma Mia! Ryan McGettigan designs the set with costumes by Robin McLaughlin\, lighting by Phil Kong and Kate Golden is the stage manager.  Nick Nudler (Billy Elliot\, Hairspray) returns to the Cape Rep stage in the role of Will Shakespeare with Lindsey Erin Agnes (Men on Boats\, Mamma Mia!) as Viola De Lesseps.  Mario Haynes and Jenn Pina make their Cape Rep debuts as Kit Marlowe and The Nurse/Queen Elizabeth. An incredible ensemble of Cape Rep company members round out the cast including Stephen Russell (Boundless)\, Art Devine (Jerusalem\, Knight of the Burning Pestle)\, Ryan Sheehan (The Tuna Goddess\, Mamma Mia!\, How I Became a Pirate)\, Tom Wolfson (Jerusalem\, Knight of the Burning Pestle)\, Ryan Sheehan The Tuna Goddess\, Mamma Mia!)\, Macklin Devine (Mamma Mia!\, Jerusalem) and Peter Hodgson.\n\nTickets are $30-$35.
