The authors will read from their novel\, discuss the process of writing collaboratively\, and how families are displaced from their home countries. Q & A to follow.\n\n\n\nBooks FREE for students (while supplies last). Pick up at Brewster Ladies' Library or Belonging Books at 438 Main St\, Hyannis. Non-students may purchase a copy at Belonging Books ($19.99) or order online for delivery (www.bookshop.org/shop/belongingbookscapecod). Books will also be available for purchase at the event. Belonging Books is a mission-driven bookstore that serves underrepresented communities on the Cape.\n\n\n\nAbout the Authors\n\n\n\nLochan Sharma was born in Nepal. His family was registered at Timai refugee camp after they were exiled from Bhutan. Lochan and his family moved to the US in 2009 and now live in Concord\, New Hampshire. He is a student at Keene State College taking courses to prepare for medical school. Go Home is his first book.\n\n\n\nTerry Farish is the author of The Good Braider a YALSA and SLJ Best Book for Young Adults and Either the Beginning or the End of the World\, (Starred review\, SLJ). She and Lochan collaborated to write\, Go Home\, which former U.S. Young People's Poet Laureate\, Margarita Engle\, writes is "Beautiful and powerful!"
