\n There are many things that make Cape Cod unique: magical beaches\, quaint villages\, and friendly people help make the Cape the treasure that it is. But did you know that our waters host one of the most endangered whales on the planet? Each year\, more than half of the world'\;s remaining 336 North Atlantic Right Whales find their way into Cape Cod Bay. Just off our shores and often visible from Provincetown'\;s Herring Cove and Race Point beaches\, these magnificent baleen mammals spend mid-winter through the springtime feeding on krill in our rich waters. If you have been lucky enough to catch a glimpse of them\, you know first-hand how fortunate we are!

\n This Friday\, please join Center for Coastal Studies Right Whale Ecology team member Brigid McKenna to discuss this year'\;s North Atlantic Right Whale \;activity in Cape Cod Bay\, with first-hand aerial footage taken by Brigid and her teammates. \;The AFSC is so lucky to have the Center for Coastal Studies as a community partner.
